Accessible Seating:
The Ryan Center is accessible to all guests. All guest entrances are wheelchair accessible. The center features accessible seating and companion seating at all levels, convenient disability parking located in the Ram Lot outside the North Lobby, and assistive listening devices. Patrons requiring assistance should contact the Ryan Center in advance of their visit. The Ryan Center is unable to provide wheelchairs for patrons.

For accessible seating, patrons can purchase tickets in one of the following ways:

Accessible Parking:
Accessible parking is located on a first-come, first-served basis in the Ram Parking Lot (if you have an ADA Parking Pass) located off of Plains Road. A state-approved parking permit is necessary for access to all ADA parking areas. Additional ADA parking in the Plain Road Lot and limited spaces in front of Keaney Gymnasium, located off of Route 138. We do allow drop-offs near the Ryan Center's North and South entrances to go park in the Plains Road Lot.

Age:
All individuals two years of age or older must posses a valid ticket for entry into the Ryan Center. A Child under two years of age is admitted free of charge for all events, provided that the child sits on the patron’s lap. Occasionally, a family show, (i.e., Harlem Globetrotters, the Circus, etc.) and Commencement Ceremonies will require a children younger than two years old to have a ticket.

Aisle:
For safety and as a courtesy to other ticket holders, patrons are prohibited from sitting or standing in aisles. Any guests not compliant may be subject to ejection.

Alcohol Policy:

The Ryan Center and Meade Stadium (URI Football) currently allow alcohol sales (Beer & Wine) at most events. For URI Men's and Women's Basketball, URI Football, and non-URI Athletic events (concerts, comedy shows, trade shows, etc.) beer and wine are available on an event-by-event basis to the general public in the concession stands as well as privately held areas such as luxury suites. Ryan Center Concessions and URI Catering staff are trained in responsible alcohol service management.

Patrons that are 21+ will be permitted to take drinks back to their seats with a maximum of two (2) drinks per purchase. All patrons will be required to have a dedicated wristband to purchase or consume beer and wine. Overly intoxicated and disorderly fans within the Ryan Center will be ejected and may be subject to arrest.

URI Football - Beer and wine service will end with 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

URI Basketball - Beer and wine service will end 5 minutes into the second half.

Concerts and Events - Beer and wine service will end based on the show timeline and varies from show to show.

Alumni Lounge: The Alumni Lounge is the Ryan Center’s lounge for pre- and post-game events. It is reserved for use by the URI Athletic Department during URI Athletic events. During other events and non-event days, the room is available to rent for parties of up to 170 depending on availability. Please visit our Meeting Space page for more information.

Animals:
Trained service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are welcome at Ryan Center.

Service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times, unless special circumstances exist, and are required to rest in the seating area of the guest with the disability, rather than the aisle. Guests with service animals may not take up an additional seat. If a seat is needed, a ticket must be purchased for the adjacent seat.

Automated Teller Machines (ATMs):
The Ryan Center has three ATM’s, located in the North Lobby by sections 102 and 103, North Concourse by section 201, and on the South Concourse by section 209.

Assistive Listening Devices:
Assistive Listening Devices are available at the Ryan Center Guest Services Center, located adjacent to the Main Ticket Office in the North Lobby area. To ensure that the devices are promptly returned, a major credit card or a driver's license will be held to use the devices.

Baby Changing Facilities:
Baby changing stations are located in all restrooms (both men & women restrooms) throughout the Ryan Center. There are also two family restrooms; one is located on the event level outside section 110 and the other is located on the West Concourse outside the Alumni Lounge.

Bag Check/Searches:
Bags, backpacks, luggage, coolers, parcels, briefcase, duffle bag, large bags and like articles will be strictly prohibited inside the Ryan Center. Bags larger than 12" x 6" x 12" will not be permitted inside the Ryan Center. All guests will be subject to search, at the discretion of the Ryan Center staff. Patrons with prohibited articles will be turned away at the entrance and prohibited bags or items will not be held for patrons.

Fans attending attending events at the Ryan Center will be only permitted to carry one clear plastic or vinyl bag that does not exceed 12"x6"x12". A small clutch no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" may also be carried in addition to one clear bag. Diaper bags (with child) and bags approved for medical needs will be permitted after a search by security personnel. All other bags, backpacks, totes, and coolers are strictly prohibited.

Banners and Signs:
Policy regarding banners and signs may vary by event; however when signs are permitted (Men’s and Women’s Basketball games), URI Athletics/Ryan Center Management may prohibit and confiscate signs that are not event-related, that are excessive in size or that contain indecent or derogatory comments or images, political statements, or commercial reference. Signs and banners may not be hung anywhere in the Ryan Center or displayed in any way that obstructs the view of others or advertising signage. No signs or banner with poles, sticks or foam board will be permitted inside the Ryan Center.

OPEN Monday to Friday: 10am to 4pm
CLOSED Saturday and Sunday: If there is a TICKETED event, the box office will open 2 hours prior.

Cancelled/Postponed Events:
In the rare event that a Ryan Center event is postponed or canceled, please visit the Ryan Center’s website or call 401-788-7267 for up-to-date information on scheduled events.

Cameras/Recording Devices:
Policies vary by event. However, cameras with professional lenses, detachable lenses or detachable flashes are prohibited inside the Ryan Center. The Event Promoter reserves the right to deny camera use at any time during or before the event and to prohibit the use of any camera that is deemed unacceptable. Use of video cameras, audio recording devices and digital cameras in video mode is strictly prohibited in the arena. The use of any of these items will result in confiscation and possible ejection from the arena.

Capacity:
The Ryan Center seats 8,000 people for a basketball game. Capacity varies for each non-basketball event and ranges from 3,000 to 6,300 people.

Cellular Phones:
The use of cellular phones is permitted at the Ryan Center, provided such use does not interfere with other guests' enjoyment of the event. Specific events prohibiting cell phone use will be clearly stated so prior to the start of the show. A charging station is located on the concourse level just outside of section 207.

Coat Check:
The Ryan Center does not provide an area to check coats or any other personal belongings. The Ryan Center is not responsible for any property that is lost, stolen, or damaged.

Credit Cards:
All major credit cards including: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover are accepted at the Ryan Center Box Office and concession stands. The Ram Zone gift shop accepts Visa and Mastercard.

Door Opening Times:
When doors to the Ryan Center officially open to the public varies according to the event. Doors typical open an hour prior to the event beginning, and 90 minutes prior to men's basketball games. Please check the www.theryancenter.com for specific event information.

Drop Off and Pick up:
Patron drop-off and pick-up locations are available outside both the North and South entrances of the Ryan Center.

Ear Plugs:
Available for our guests at guest services throughout events.

Elevators:
There are two elevators at the Ryan Center with access to all seating areas including the suite level. One is located in the South Lobby and one is located in the North Lobby.

First Aid:
First Aid is available on the concourse level behind section 207 for most events (basketball games, family shows, football) however for most concerts First Aid located off the north end of the event floor. A Ryan Center Event Staff Member will be able to assist you with directions to the First Aid location.

Food and Beverages:
Guests may not bring food and/or beverage items into the arena at any times. Guests must dispose of the unauthorized items prior to entrance into the arena. Please visit our Concessions page for information on food/beverage available to purchase during events. In addition, visit URI Catering for more information on food/beverage available for purchase in suites and hospitality spaces.

Guest Code of Conduct:
The Ryan Center is committed to enhancing safety and enjoyable experience for all patrons. The Ryan Center appreciates all fans observing the Guest Code of Conduct.

Guests will enjoy the event experience free from disruptive behavior, including foul or abusive language and obscene gestures.
- Offensive language or obscene gestures, including the use of language or gestures: (1) concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion, creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or national origin, or (2) to instigate, incite or encourage a confrontation or physical assault
Guests may not Impede or disrupt the event or other attendees which includes (but is not limited to):
- Shoving, fighting, or engage in any unwanted physical contact
- Climbing, stage diving, or entering restricted areas
- Partaking in activities deemed unsafe by Ryan Center management
Guests may only consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. Intervention with an impaired, intoxicated, or underage guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
Guests may only sit in their ticketed seats and must show their tickets when requested.
Guests who engage in fighting, throwing objects, or attempting to enter the playing surface will be immediately evicted from the arena.
Guests may not smoke in the arena including vapors or e-cigarettes.
Obscene or indecent messages on signs or clothing will not be permitted.
Guests must comply with requests from arena staff regarding arena operations and emergency response procedures.
When exiting, there is no re-entry into the building.
Season ticket holders and event guests are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests and/or persons occupying their seats. Arena team members will promptly intervene to support an environment where all event guests can enjoy the event free from the above behaviors.
Guests who violate these provisions will be subject to ejection without refund and potential loss of ticket privileges for future events. Ryan Center, URI Athletics, URI, and OVG staff/management reserve the right to revoke ticket privileges for any reason and at any time during the season. Ryan Center, URI Athletics, URI, and OVG staff/management will notify the season ticket holder of record, in writing, of any report of fan misconduct.

Fan Hotline
Guests who wish to report issues or concerns, ask for information, or call for assistance in a fast, easy, and convenient way can do so by using our text message service. Please text 401-874-7267. Arena team members will respond quickly and accordingly. Fans are encouraged to alert event staff and management promptly so issues/concerns can be addressed as soon as possible.

Guest Services is located in the North Lobby and is open during most large events. The Ryan Center is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Any guest in need of assistance during an event should seek the closets Event Staff Member.

Inclement Weather Policy:
In the rare event that a Ryan Center event is postponed or canceled due to inclement weather, please visit the Ryan Center’s website for up-to-date information on schedule events. Should a decision be made to cancel or postpone an event, this information will be promptly posted on the Ryan Center website, as well as our main information telephone line 401-788-3200

Interpretive Services: Sign language interpreter requests require two weeks advance notice of the show for scheduling. Patrons can call the Box Office at 401-874-RAMS (7267) to speak to a representative or EMAIL to request this service.

Intoxicated Guests:
The Ryan Center reserves the right to deny entry to intoxicated guests. Any intoxicated guest causing disturbance during an event will be asked to leave the facility and may be subject to arrest.

Lost and Found:
Ryan Center management assumes no responsibility of items lost or damaged at events. You can contact the Ryan Center Box Office at (401) 874-7267 during normal business hours to file a claim. Items that have been found will be stored in a locked storage area for 90 days before being discarded or donated if not claimed. During events, the Lost & Found is located at Guest Services in the North Lobby.

Listening Devices:
The Ryan Center is equipped with in-house listening devices for the hearing impaired which guests can obtain from the Guest Services area located near the Main Ticket Office.

Lost Children:
Lost children at the Ryan Center should be brought to the nearest usher, supervisor, or security guard.

Lost or Stolen Tickets

Lost tickets:
When tickets are lost, you should contact the point of sale for replacement. If your tickets were purchased on-line via www.theryancenter.com or by phone at 1-401-874-RAMS (7267) please contact Customer Service directly at 401-788-3201 with any problems. If you are a season or plan ticket holder for URI Athletics, please call 401-874-RAMS (7267). Single game or event tickets purchased at the Ryan Center Box Office with a credit card can be replaced by coming to the box office with the credit card used to purchase the tickets. Due to the difficulty of verifying tickets purchased with cash, we are not able to replace lost tickets that were purchased with cash. Single game or event tickets purchased at the box office are not traceable and should be treated like currency; they cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. The cost to replace lost tickets is $5.

Stolen Tickets:
For tickets that have been stolen, an official police report is required as well as verification of purchase. Stolen tickets, passes or reissues will be given out at the discretion of the Box Office Manager and only after verification of purchase.

Merchandise:
Merchandise is sold at the Ram Zone located on the event level in the North Lobby during all Men’s Basketball, Women's Basketball and Football games. Visa and Mastercard are accepted in the Ram’s Zone. Most concerts and family shows will set up their own merchandise stands in public areas. Methods of payment accepted and merchandise offered vary for each show.

Media Access/Press:
All press inquiries for Ryan Center special events (concerts, family shows, etc.) should be directed to Brigid St Leger via email at bstleger@theryancenter.com. Please include your name, contact info, what media you are representing and the purpose of your article/photo. Noisemakers:
Noisemakers are not permitted inside the building without prior authorization.

Pay phones are available on the event level in the north and south lobbies.

Police:
Uniformed South Kingstown and University of Rhode Island police officers are stationed inside and outside the Ryan Center at all ticketed events.

Prohibited Items:
Prohibited Items inside the Ryan Center include, but are not limited to:

Aerosol cans
Alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs
Animals (other than service animals)
Artificial Noise-makers
Bags/Backpacks that do not follow the clear bag policy
Banners, sticks, clubs, or flag poles
Bota bags or wine skins
Confetti
Cameras or recording devices (varies by event)
E-Cigarettes, Juules/Vapes
Fireworks, firearms, or other weapons
Glass bottles or aluminum cans
Ice chests (coolers) or thermos containers
Inflatable items (such as helium balloons or beach balls)
Items whose contents cannot be inspected or displayed
Laser pointers
Outside food and beverage including containers
Skateboards or roller blades
Sticks or clubs (including signs attached to sticks)
Stools or folding chairs
Umbrellas
Water bottles or mugs
Weapons of any kind

Patrons attempting to bring any prohibited item into the Ryan Center will be asked to return that item to his or her vehicle. Arena management reserves the right to inspect & remove any items. Check-In Services is not available for any items.

Recording Devices:
As a general rule, recording devices are not allowed within the Ryan Center. This is subject to change depending on each event’s policies. Please call 401-788-3200 for more information. Patrons attempting to bring a prohibited device into the Ryan Center will be asked to return that device to his or her vehicle.

Re-Entry:
Patrons who leave the Ryan Center during an event will not be allowed back into the building unless another ticket is purchased.

Restrooms:
All restrooms at the Ryan Center have diaper-changing facilities and are accessible to persons with disabilities. There are also two family restrooms; one is located on the event level outside section 110 and the other is located on the West Concourse outside the Alumni Room.

Scalping:
Rhode Island state law permits the resale of tickets at no greater than face value plus $3 per ticket or 10% of the face value - whichever is greater.

Security:

Ensuring the safety of our guests is always a top priority. Please be advised that for ticketed events at the Ryan Center, venue security will utilize Walk-Through Metal Detectors (Magnetometers) to search all patrons entering the facility. Customers should keep the following in mind:

Minimize the number of personal items you bring to the venue
Allow extra time for arriving to and entering the venue
Guests will be asked to remove from there clothing and belongings any items that may trigger the alarm, including cell phones and keys before they pass through the metal detector (Magnetometer) units
Bags will be searched. Please do not bring backpacks into the Ryan Center
If the Metal Detector (Magnetometer) alarm sounds, you will be subject to a secondary screening which may slow your entry into the venue.
The same list of venue-prohibited items will still apply
It is at the discretion of venue management as to what events these units will be in use for.

Smoking:
Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Ryan Center. This includes Jules, Vape Devices, and e-cigarettes.

Souvenirs:
The Rams Zone carries a wide assortment of the University of Rhode Island Athletics apparel and souvenirs. It is open for all URI Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball and Football games. URI Athletic apparel and souvenirs are also available at the University of Rhode Island Bookstore at the Memorial Union. Please call 401-874-2722 for hours of operation and other information.

Most concerts and family shows will set up their own merchandise stands in public areas. Methods of payment accepted and merchandise offered vary for each show.

Standing:
The Ryan Center asks all guests to remain seated during events. Depending on the nature of the event (such as a concert), standing may be accepted as normal protocol. Guests are permitted to stand if the majority of the audience is doing the same. Standing on seats or any other structure is not permitted and may result in ejection from the event.

Strollers:
If necessary, guests may bring strollers to events. Please understand that strollers may not be left in walkways or the concourse, our staff will not guard these items for you. The Ryan Center is not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged strollers. Strollers cannot be checked in.

Television and Cable:
A select number of URI Men’s and Women’s Basketball and URI Football games will be nationally broadcasted as well as streamed on ESPN+, FLO Football, USA, and CBS Sports throughout the season. Visit the URI athletics website for schedules and more information at www.gorhody.com.

Wheelchair Space Locations:
Guests with disabilities and their companions may enjoy wheelchair space locations that are dispersed throughout the arena and available at all price levels. It is strongly suggested that all accessible seating and requests be made in advance. In an effort to serve all patrons requesting accessible seating we offer at a minimum four (4) tickets per customer (based on availability). Other guests depending on availability will be seated as close to the accessible section as possible. For non-ticketed events, all accessible seats are available on a first come, first served basis to all customers desiring accessible seating. For all events every possible effort will be made to accommodate patrons requiring special assistance; however it is strongly recommended to purchase ADA seating in advance for ticketed events and call 401-874-7267 for any non-ticketed event questions.

Will Call (Pre-Ordered Ticket Pick Up):
Hard tickets ordered through The Ryan Center Box Office or online through theryancenter.com or gorhody.com can be picked up at the Main Box Office on the north side of the Ryan Center during normal business hours. It is accessed by entering the University at Plains Road.
