Accessible Seating
The Ryan Center has accessible seating areas located in many sections of the arena. Accessible seating is subject to availability. Once an event has sold out, accessible seating is also sold out. To place an order for accessible seating, please call the box office at 401-788-3200 (Prompt #1 for Box Office and then #5 to speak to a representative).
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking spaces are available in the Ram Lot located directly in front of the North Lobby entrance on Plains Road. Please enter the University using the Plains Road entrance. Additional spaces are located across the street in the Plains Road Lot. Pick up and drop off is also available should accessible spaces fill up.
Alcohol policy
The Ryan Center does not serve alcoholic beverages of any kind at any event. Consumption of alcoholic beverages is also not permitted in the parking lots and other adjacent areas surrounding the Ryan Center. Drunk and disorderly fans within the Ryan Center will be ejected and may be subject to arrest.
Alumni Room
The Alumni Room is the Ryan Center’s venue for pre- and post-game events. It is reserved for use by the URI athletic department during URI athletic events. During other events and non-event days, the room is available to rent for parties of up to 125 depending on availability. Please call 401-788-3200 for more information.
Animals
Patrons are not permitted to bring animals into the Ryan Center, with the exception of guide or service dogs for the disabled.
Automated Teller Machines (ATMs)
The Ryan Center has two ATM’s, located in the North lobby, by sections 102 and 103, and on the South concourse, by section 209.
Away Game Tickets
The Ryan Center Box Office offers tickets to all URI men’s basketball and football games played away from the University of Rhode Island. For more information, please call 401-874-RAMS.

Bag check/searches
Bag checks may be performed upon entry of the building for security reasons.
Banners and signs
These may not be hung in the building without proper authorization. Small signs are allowed as long as they tasteful in nature. Policy may vary per event; however, we reserve the right to remove any Banner or sign without exception.

Cameras/recording devices
Policies vary per event. However, cameras with professional lenses, detachable lenses or detachable flashes are prohibited from the Ryan Center. Use of video cameras, audio recording devices and digital cameras in video mode is strictly prohibited in the arena. The use of any of these items will result in confiscation and possible ejection from the arena.
Capacity
The Ryan Center seats 7,657 people for a basketball game. Capacity varies for each non-basketball event and ranges from 3,000 to 6,000 people.
Cellular Phones
The use of cellular phones is permitted at the Ryan Center, provided such use does not interfere with other guests' enjoyment of the event. Please be courteous and refrain from making loud or lengthy calls in the seating areas.

Credit Cards
MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover are accepted at the Ryan Center Box Office. The Ram Zone gift shop and most concession stands accept Visa and Mastercard.

Elevators
There are two elevators at The Ryan Center. One is in the south lobby and one is in the north lobby. There are three floors - elevators start at the event level, providing access to floor level and 100 level seating. They stop at the concourse level, providing access to 200 level seating, 200 level accessible seating, and 300 level seating. They also stop at the suite level, providing access to all suites and 300 level accessible seating.
Exchange of Tickets
The Ryan Center does not permit the exchange of tickets for any event. All sales are final.

Listening Devices
The Ryan Center is equipped with in-house listening devices for the hearing impaired which guests can obtain from the Guest Services area located near the Main Ticket Office.
Lost and Found
The Ryan Center lost and found is located at the Guest Services window located near the Main Ticket Office in the North Lobby. When Guest Services is closed, inquiries may be made at the Box Office window in the North Lobby. To inquire about a lost item by phone, please call 401-788-3200 (Prompt #1 for Box Office and then #5 to speak to a representative).
Lost Children
Lost children at the Ryan Center should be brought to the nearest usher, supervisor, or security guard.
Lost or Stolen Tickets
Tickets are lost, you should contact the point of sale for replacement. If your tickets were purchased using Ticketmaster, please contact Ticketmaster Customer Service directly at 1-800-653-8000 with any problems. If you are a season or plan ticket holder for URI athletics, please call 401-874-RAMS. Single game or event tickets purchased at the Ryan Center box office with a credit card can be replaced by coming down to the box office with the credit card used to purchase the tickets. Due to the difficulty of verifying tickets purchased with cash, we are not able to replace tickets lost that were purchased with cash. Single game or event tickets purchased at the box office are not traceable and should be treated like currency; they cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. The cost to replace lost tickets is $5.

Merchandise
Merchandise is sold at the Ram Zone located on the event level in the main/north lobby during all men’s basketball games. Visa and Mastercard are accepted in the Ram’s Zone. Most concerts and family shows will set up their own merchandise stands. Methods of payment accepted and merchandise offered vary for each show.

Noisemakers
Noisemakers are not permitted inside the building without prior authorization.

Pay phones are available on the event level in the north and south lobbies.
Police
Uniformed South Kingstown and University of Rhode Island police officers are stationed inside and outside the Ryan Center at all events.

Prohibited Items
The following items are not permitted in the Ryan Center:
- Aerosol cans
- Alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs
- Animals (except guide or service dogs for the disabled)
- Backpacks
- Beach balls or other inflatable items
- Bota bags or wine skins
- Bullhorns or noise makers
- Cameras or recording devices (varies by event)
- Confetti
- Fireworks, firearms, or other weapons
- Glass bottles or aluminum cans
- Ice chests (coolers) or thermos containers
- Laser pointers
- Outside food or beverage
- Skateboards or roller blades
- Sticks or clubs (including signs attached to sticks)
- Stools or folding chairs
- Water bottles or mugs
Patrons attempting to bring any prohibited item into the Ryan Center will be asked to return that item to his or her vehicle.

Recording Devices
As a general rule, recording devices are not allowed within the Ryan Center. This is subject to change depending on each event’s policies. Please call 401-788-3200 for more information. Patrons attempting to bring a prohibited device into the Ryan Center will be asked to return that device to his or her vehicle.
Re-Entry
Patrons who leave the Ryan Center during an event will not be allowed back into the building unless another ticket is purchased. If you must leave for an emergency, please speak to a ticket taker at the main entrance prior to leaving the building if you wish to be re-admitted.
Restrooms
All restrooms at the Ryan Center have diaper-changing facilities and are accessible to persons with disabilities. There are also two family restrooms; one is located on the event level outside section 110 and the other is located on the West Concourse outside the Alumni Room.

Scalping
Rhode Island state law permits the resale of tickets at no greater than face value plus $3 per ticket or 10% of face value - whichever is greater.
Smoking
Under Rhode Island law, smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Ryan Center. Outdoor smoking areas are provided in the north and south lobbies.
Souvenirs
The Rams Zone carries a wide assortment of University of Rhode Island athletics apparel and souvenirs. It is open for all URI men’s and women’s basketball and football games. URI athletics apparel and souvenirs are also available at the University of Rhode Island Bookstore at the Memorial Union. Please call 401-874-2722 for hours of operation and other information.
Most concerts and family shows will set up their own merchandise stands. Methods of payment accepted and merchandise offered vary for each show.

Television and Cable
A select number of URI men’s and women’s basketball and URI football games will air on Cox Sports Television throughout the season. Visit the URI athletics website for schedules and more information at www.gorhody.com.

Water Fountains are located throughout the building.
Wheelchair Accomodations
Transportation is available at guest services. Due to a limited number of wheelchairs, escorts can only provide transportation within the building and cannot be reserved prior to the event.
Tickets ordered through Ticketmaster or the Ryan Center Box Office can be picked up at the Main Box Office on the north side of the Ryan Center. It is accessed by entering the University at Plains Road.
